this picture looks like it’s from an ikea catalog dated three years before ikea was founded. the description paired with it describes a bookshelf, even though no shelves are present. come to think of it, there’s no shelves of any kind in the entire catalog – not inside cabinets, not as part of a desk, and certainly no standalone shelving units.
