I theorize that I, and others like me, are motivated by a different pair of two opposing drives: the drive to start messaging a Tumblr Popular stranger out of the blue because I think their output is neat and I want to be friends, and the drive to not come off as a presumptuous weirdo

If I fill the Tumblr Popular Stranger role for anyone, by some surreal divine joke, I can assure you that contacting me is fine.
