She brings the incandescent glass tube close to the light and, drawing together her lovely sealskin eyebrows – which Tanya has inherited – she looks for a long time … and then without saying anything she unhurriedly shakes the thermometer and slips it back into its case, looking at me as if not quite recognizing me, while my father rides his horse at a walk across a vernal plain all blue with irises; let us describe also the delirious state in which one feels huge numbers grow, inflating one’s brain, accompanied by someone’s incessant patter quite unrelated to you, as if in the dark garden adjoining the madhouse of the book-of-sums several of its characters, half out (or more precisely, fifty-seven one-hundred-and-elevenths out) of their terrible world of increasing interests, appeared in their stock parts of apple-woman, four ditchdiggers and a Certain Person who has bequeathed his children a caravan of fractions, and chatted, to the accompaniment of the nocturnal sough of trees, about something extremely domestic and silly, but therefore all the more awful, all the more doomed to turn into those very numbers, into that mathematical universe expanding endlessly (an expansion which for me sheds an odd light on the macrocosmic theories of today’s physicists).

To give the divine head a bit of distance from the seething body and its “foolish counsel,” the gods invented the neck.

The artist has erected a glass-walled container in the center of a popular Berlin square and will live in this 2.5 by 14-meter space for 15 days. Throughout this time, Verhoeven will be able to communicate with the outside world solely through Grindr and other similar apps.

The weasel’s teeth are making a bloody gouge in his cheek. Wild!

The word “it” is commonly used in non-Moon Children documents to refer to BEN and is almost never used for other entities unless warranted.

I personally was quite fond of pleasure and could see little reason to choose less of it rather than more.

Peter Damian recorded a story that Benedict had been seen after his death in the form of a monster, half bear, half ass, doomed to prowl the surface of the earth until the last judgment.  Another, more charitable, rumor claimed that he repented and entered a monastery, and in the end died a humble Christian.

According to Academia, the square root of +1 is ±1.

Most interesting of all, perhaps, at Christmastime there was the mummers’ play, featuring a madman, his five sons – Pickle Herring, Blue Breeches, Pepper Breeches, Ginger Breeches, and Mr. Allspice – and a woman named Cicely (or, on occasion, Maid Marion). The madman first fights with the hobbyhorse and with a “wild worm,” that is, a dragon. The sons then decide to kill their father; interlocking their swords around his neck, they force him to kneel down and make his will, before dispatching him. One of the sons, Pickle Herring, stamps his feet upon the ground and brings the father back to life. The play – or perhaps, with its seasonal occasion, primordial rhythms, and indifference to realism, it should be called a ritual – lurches toward its end with the father and sons wooing Cicely together and then with grotesque sword dances and morris dances.

A circular area, pit, or “pool” is visible in the center, with what may be rocks or people at its edge in the foreground. Some kind of crane or machinery is seen in the centre of the “pool”. There may be foliage to the left of the “pool”. To the top left, a stretched pyramid structure is very clearly visible. At the top right, there appear to be buildings(a farm?).

Needless to say, the image remains a complete mystery.
