Sandy reports an unpleasant dream in which I had become “weirder and meaner,” a change exemplified by the fact that I had become “obsessed with Captain Crunch.”  My house had a “understory that was garage, laundry room, entrance blanket fort, hidden bunker” and I made him and his girlfriend sleep in it while they visited me, while agreeing with my dad that it was “a fond childhood memory and convenient bomb shelter.”
