Reflect Halos - Subdivided Icosahedron Variants
Here are three more variants in the “Reflect Halos” series. Exploring lingering ideas from earlier when I replaced the spheres with slightly rounded Icosahedrons, these designs go a step further and use rounded Subdivided Icosahedrons at 1, 2 and 3 levels of subdivision. It’s interesting to see how the patterns of reflection change as the number of subdivisions increase, but the angles between faces decrease.
