I was talking to my dad about family history today and I learned that several of my ancestors were cops, which I had not known before

(Inevitably, this made me think of the “assigned cop at birth” meme)

(Other occupations of my father’s male ancestors include: boxer, notably successful college basketball coach.  I come from a line of rough dudes, weirdly enough)

My family tree also includes an electrical engineer who was involved in building the first atomic bomb, so there are a lot of exciting(ly violent and destructive) possibilities here
